早くから天才少女として名高く、第28回音楽コンクールにおいて史上最年少で第1位特賞を受賞。ただちに翌年、Ｎ響初の世界一周公演のソリストに抜擢され華やかにデビュー。その後、ジュリアード音楽院に留学、第7回ショパン・コンクールで日本人初の入賞と併せて最年少者賞を受賞。以後今日に至るまで中村紘子の名は日本のピアニストの代名詞となり、その演奏は国内外3700回を越える演奏会を通じて聴衆を魅了し続けている。1968年ソニー・レコードの専属第1号アーティストになって以来50点近いレコード・ＣＤをリリース。2009年には『デビュー50周年記念アルバム』10枚組BOXセットがレコード芸術誌の第47回「レコード・アカデミー賞」（特別部門企画・制作）を受賞した。

Recognized as a prodigy from age 3, Hiroko Nakamura has performed in more than 3700 concerts worldwide, has made about 50 recordings, and is the award-winning author of five books. She has made innumerable appearances with major orchestras under the direction of such renowned conductors as James Levine and Evgeny Svetlanov.
Ms. Nakamura has served on the juries of many international competitions including Van Cliburn, Tchikovsky, Chopin and Hamamatsu.

Beginning his artistic career at the age of fifteen, Israeli born Arie Vardi went on to receive international acclaim as one of the country's foremost pianists. After winning the Chopin Competition in Israel, he appeared with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra with Zubin Mehta, and upon winning the George Enescu International Competition in Bucharest, he played numerous concerts throughout Europe. Alongside his study of music at the Rubin Academy, he succeeded in achieving a degree in law at Tel Aviv University.
Vardi continued his piano studies in Basel with Paul Baumgartaner and studied composition with Pierre Boulez and Karlheinz Stockhausen. Vladimir Tropp was born in Moscow in 1939. He studied at the celebrated Gnessins Music School from an early age. His teachers were the distinguished Russian pedagogues, Moisey Feigin and Teodor Gutman, both pupils of Heinrich Neuhaus. Tropp began to give recitals and to perform with orchestras already as a student. He was awarded the prestigious Rimsky-Korsakov scholarship.
In 1963 Tropp graduated with distinction from the Gnessins State Musical Institute, now named the Gnessins Russian Academy of Music. He immediately began his graduate work while teaching at the institute. Today he is reputedly one of the leading professors of this major institution of professional music education. In 1997 he became chair of the Academy's piano department. For the last six years he has worked as well as professor at the Moscow State Conservatory named after Tchaikovsky. In his teaching Professor Tropp strives to maintain the highest traditions of the Russian piano school. Several of his students have won major international competitions.

Bao Huiqiao is one of the most well-known pianists in China. She was the soloist at the China symphony Orchestra from 1970 until retirement.
At an early age, she showed special musical talent and transferred into the Middle School attached to the Central Conservatory of Music when she was 13.
Later, she finished undergraduate and graduate studies and got the Master degree at the Central Conservatory of music under the guidance and help of Prof. Zhu Gongyi and Prof. Tatiana Kravchenko, who was the Vice-President of the Leningrad Conservatory of Music. During the years of her university study, she won numerous prizes both nationally and internationally, including the 1st Prize in Performance of Chinese works Competition in 1960; 5th Prize in the 2nd George Enescu International Piano Competition in 1961; 1st Prize in the National Selective Competition of China in 1964 and National Selective Chopin Competition in 1965; Best Performance Prize in the 4th National Competition for Music Compositions in 1985 and The Golden CD prize issued by the China Recording Company in 1992 etc.

She was the Vice Charmin of the China Musicians Association and now is the adviser of the China Musicians Association. The American Biographical Institute nominated her as one of the 500 Successful Performing Artists.
Since 2007, she has been the chairman of the China International Piano Competition. Many of her students have won prizes in International Piano Competitions.
